Publishers and shops
18xx games aren't always easy to find: many editions are short print runs sold directly by the publisher or through pre-orders, and others have been out of print for years. Here are the publishers and shops where you can buy them from Catalonia.
Prices, stock and shipping terms change often: always check with the shop before buying.
Publishers with their own shop
Many 18xx titles are only sold on the publisher's website, often as pre-orders. It's the easiest place to find them, but factor in shipping and, for orders from outside the European Union, customs.
All-Aboard Games
United States
The largest dedicated 18xx publisher: 1817, the 1822 series, 18Chesapeake and many more, produced in waves. To get them in Spain, pick each game's “INTERNATIONAL” version, which ships from European warehouses with shipping included. Wave 6 pre-orders are running very late.

Leonhard “Lonny” Orgler's own label; he designed 18ESP, 18Mag, 1840 and 1888-N. Ships from Austria, inside the European Union: no customs and, when we checked, free standard shipping to Spain.
GMT Games
United States
Major US strategy game publisher with a growing 18xx line. Ships from the United States, so expect import VAT. Pre-orders (P500) have a “Euro-Friendly” option with VAT and customs included.
Marflow Games
Germany
Wolfram Janich's small German label, making short 18xx print runs. There's no shopping cart: you order by email from the price list and pay by bank transfer or PayPal. Ships within the European Union.
Golden Spike Games

Hand-makes and sells most of the Deep Thought Games catalogue. You order by email, there's a one-to-two-month queue and you stick the token labels on yourself. Ships from the United States: customs are on you.
Asterisk Games
United States
Publisher of Railways of the Lost Atlas, an 18xx-family game where the map is built anew every game. It has a dedicated European Union store, with VAT added at checkout.
Shops in Catalonia
Shops you can visit in person where we have found 18xx games, though often awaiting restock or on pre-order. If they don't have what you're after, ask: many can special-order it.
Dungeon Marvels
Large online importer with a shop in Barcelona's Sants district. It usually carries GMT's 18xx titles (1846, 1848, 1862, 18 India); when they're awaiting restock you can still order and they ship on arrival. You can collect and pay in store.

Many 18xx games are out of print, and the second-hand market is often the only way to get hold of them.
